Imagine you walked into a store and it looked exactly like it did when it first opened in the 1950s. Imagine noticing dusts on the shelves and on the floor and products. Imagine you go to pay for your purchase with a credit card but you can’t because they don’t have a credit card machine. Imagine what you would be thinking, feeling and if you would ever go back.

Having an outdated web presence is exactly like never renovating or cleaning your store since the first day it opened. The difference is that it would take years and decades for a brick and mortar store to really appear outdated and it might only take a few months for a web presence to appear outdated.

It does not take long for a website visitor to notice when web pages are out of date, specifically when it comes to their design, plugins that don’t work or social media accounts that haven’t been updated. There’s also a possibility visitors might not even find your site since if you aren’t updating it, it won’t continue to rank in search engines. Having an outdated web presence is a surefire way to turn off visitors and send them to your competitors
