Top 5 Productivity Apps for Business Owners

Time is the most crucial factor in running a business (as with life) because there’s simply not enough of it. Thankfully, technology has allowed us to be more productive and efficient the quickest way possible.

Although, with millions of apps released year after year, it’s hard to identify which ones are best for entrepreneurs and business owners. We’ve done our research and testing and here are our top 5 favorite business productivity apps:

1. DropBox

Are you the kind of businessman who is always on the go? How does having access to your most important files from any computer, mobile device or phone sound like?  Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, documents and videos anywhere and share them easily.

Dropbox allows you to synchronize various folders across multiple platforms. For example, if you’re on the road for a business trip, you can place a presentation in your Dropbox folder, and it’ll be accessible on your iPad, iPhone, or computer – regardless where you originally saved it. It’s a great solution if you travel often, and want to back up your work. Or if you just want to make life easy.

2. AcceptSafe

Accepting payments online shouldn’t be a hassle. AcceptSafe is an easy and affordable way for your business to accept credit cards. If you’re selling anything on your website, it’s important to use a trusted payment gateway.  And even better if that gateway comes with a free mobile app! iPage has partnered with AcceptSafe which offers low rates and supports Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Network. Using the AcceptSafe mobile app, you can accept payments on your mobile device through their mobile app.

3. Evernote

Evernote is your digital memory. With the app, users are allowed to type down work notes and edit them on any device (tabled, phone or laptop). Interestingly, for those who don’t even have the time to type, the Evernote mobile app takes dictation and allows users to photograph documents or record sound directly in its notes.

4. CamCard Lite

Do you meet tons of people every day? As a businessman, you know how important it is to network. An essential part of meeting important people is remembering their names and getting their contact details. CamCard Lite allows you to snap pictures of business cards and automatically import that information to your virtual Rolodex.

5. Any.do

There are plenty of list-based apps that want to help organize your day, but none of them are as thoughtful and inventive as Any.do. To keep users productive, it partnered with mobile ad network Kiip to offer rewards and coupons for the tasks they swipe away.
